  • Amy Kates and Greg Kesler, Managing Partners of Kates Kesler Consulting, will introduce the challenges of matching organization designs to complex strategies

Amy Kates is a managing partner with Kates Kesler Organization Consulting. Kates works with leaders and their teams to assess organizational issues, reshape structures and processes, and build depth of management capability. She is a skilled diagnostician and designer and helps her clients to understand organizational options and their implications, and to make sound decisions. In addition to her consulting work, she teaches organization design in the Executive MBA program at the Executive School of Business in Denmark and through the University of Southern California and Cornell University. Kates is also an editor of the journal People & Strategy.

Greg Kesler is a managing partner with Kates Kesler Organization Consulting. Kesler consults with leaders in designing global organizations for growth and in executive assessment and succession planning systems and practices. He has consulted with more than 50 companies around the world, including major company redesign and executive talent initiatives at Nike, Coca-Cola, Royal Dutch Philips, S.C. Johnson, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, McKesson, Tyco, Medtronic, Merck and others. He has authored numerous articles and book chapters and is on the editorial committee of People & Strategy journal, where he has overseen the publication of special issues on CEO leadership and organization design.

  • Reed Deshler, Principal of AlignOrg Solutions, will focus on the expanding role of HR in business transformation and provide suggestions for how to prepare for and successfully make business model innovation stick
  • Michael Schuster, Managing Partner of CHRS, will speak to aligning metric and rewards in multi-dimensional and matrixed organizations.
  • Maureen Nash, Head of Talent and Organization at Tyco Flow Control, will share an inside view on successfully managing a multi-year, whole company design project
