About This Session: This session will lay out the basic principles of a new leadership paradigm for CHROs in the 21st century. Because the world is small, hot and crowded and more connected, serial hierarchical leadership cannot meet the demands placed on CHROs. What is needed is a new leadership perspective that addresses asynchronous collaborative leadership more characteristic of communities, ecologies and partnerships. The organizational structure that supports these changes is heterarchy, not hierarchy. Dr. Stephenson will highlight the new social capital metrics that support this organizational structure.
