Donna Trujillo is the Director Human Resources for Dell's Global Finance organization and supports the company's Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer. She also has served as the Director of Global Talent Acquisition. In this role she was responsible for driving Dell's worldwide talent acquisition strategy, including upgrading Dell's selection processes, improving workforce planning initiatives and establishing Dell's first global external employment brand.
Trujillo has worked in the Human Resources field for 23 years and has held numerous generalist positions. She has worked in union, nonunion, manufacturing and services environments, and has experience in due diligence/business integration, organizational development, succession planning, staffing, employee relations, compensation, benefits, cultural change programs, training, communication and statutory compliance. Trujillo worked for 14 years at GE.
Before joining Dell, Trujillo held several positions at Rockwell Automation. She served as VP-HR Components and Packaged Applications Group supporting 6,000 global manufacturing business (4 union and 14 nonunion locations). She led the HR efforts for a new manufacturing site in Shanghai, China, managed negotiations strategy and achieved agreement to relocate jobs while obtaining more contribution towards health care. She created pay for performance and union avoidance strategies, led global due diligence and participated on a company-wide cultural change steering committee.
As the VP-HR, Global Sales and Support Group at Rockwell Automation, she was responsible for the worldwide 5,000-person sales organization, including North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific. Trujillo led the first combined HR organization supporting global sales and implemented a learning management tool globally. She implemented major restructurings in North America, changed the compensation model to drive business growth and streamlined U.S. college recruiting efforts. She also drove restructuring of the European HR organization to align with the business.
Trujillo has an MBA from Ohio University and a bachelor's degree from Heidelberg College.
