Kevin Rubens is a Senior Partner with Korn/Ferry Leadership and Talent Consulting, based in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Kevin provides consulting across industries and leads LTC’s Aviation, Aerospace and Defense Practice.

Kevin is a broad-based professional with international leadership experience in human capital consulting, human resources, and business management. He provides solutions related to Talent Strategy, Organization Effectiveness, Leadership Assessment and Development, Organization Design and Business Transformation.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, he was a global partner within the compensation and talent practice at Aon Hewitt. While at Aon Hewitt, he held local, regional and international leadership roles and acted as a trusted advisor to clients in the Defense, Telecom, Energy, High Technology, Manufacturing and Financial Services sectors. Kevin has led diverse, multi-disciplined teams to achieve business results. He has completed three expatriate assignments (Russia, the UK and China) and has directed complex projects on-site in 17 countries.

Representative clients have included: Chevron, Exxon, Bank of America, Huawei, DTE Energy, Alstom, UnitedHealth Group, BAE Systems, Capital One, Michelin, Northrop Grumman, GM and Ford.

Earlier in his career, he was president of a consulting firm providing services in organizational design, organizational effectiveness and leadership development for government agencies and  industrial companies operating in transitional economies. He also held HR roles the in automotive and telecommunications sectors.Kevin has authored articles on international management topics and is a featured speaker at professional venues and universities across the US, Europe, and Asia on topics related to talent strategy and the future of work.

Kevin holds a Master of Labor and Industrial Relations degree from the School of Labor and Industrial Relations at Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Wayne State University.  Additional studies include political economy and business strategy at the University of London, and the Executive Strategy Program at INSEAD in France.
