Marianne Gattinella is Vice President, Human Resources for the McGraw-Hill Companies. As a senior HR business partner in Corporate, she leads the human capital plans across the Finance, Technology, Legal and Corporate Affairs organizations. Marianne, who is based in New York, also has responsibility for the Employee Relations COE. Most recently, Marianne led the Talent, Selection and Staffing process for the Company’s Growth and Value Plan (GVP). She is also a member of the Human Resources Leadership Team. Previously, Marianne has worked as a senior human resources business partner supporting global businesses at New York Life International, Lehman Brothers, Citibank and The Travelers. She has significant international human resources experience, having worked extensively across Asia Pacific.
Marianne is currently on the Board of Directors for HR People + Strategy (HRPS), the New York Human Resources Planning Society (NYHRPS) and the Business Advisory Council for the University of Rhode Island. She was recently selected to present the GVP’s Talent and Selection Strategies at the 2014 Global HRPS Conference.
Marianne has a masters degree in business administration from the University of Hartford and a bachelors degree in business with a concentration in HR from the University of Rhode Island. She is also certified in a number of organizational and human resources talent assessment tools.
