Before joining Arbitron in 1991, Kathie was the vice president of Organization Development and Corporate Communication for Chevy Chase Bank.Prior to that, she held the position of Director, Human Resources and Planning for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, an association of consumer owned electrical utilities.Kathie began her career at the Student Loan Marketing Association as a Human Resource Manager.
Ms. Ross is vice chair of the board of Culpepper Garden (a facility providing both independent and assisted living services to low income seniors).She is also a board member of The Human Resource Planning Society, American Women in Radio and Television and Signature Theatre in Arlington, Virginia.
Kathie holds a BS degree in Psychology from Abilene Christian University, an MS degree in Human Resource Management from American University, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Development from the School of Business at George Washington University where she serves as adjunct faculty.
