He has partnered with Sandy Ogg, founder of CEO.works, as the co-founder and head of global advisory to invent new HR 3.0 models, methodologies and practices with a passion to connecting these practices explicitly to value creation and away from size, hierarchy or process. As the head of advisory services, he works directly with CEOs in public companies and with founders of private equity firms.
Sumeet served as global head of HR for the Johnson & Johnson consumer company and the Johnson & Johnson medical device company. Previously, he spent over 20 years with Unilever, rising through the ranks from an intern to director to leader of the global program office of HR in the Netherlands. He moved to UK as the head of leadership development to help build Unilever's talent strategy for emerging markets and then led its execution as head of HR in the Asia Pacific region. As senior VP of HR for Unilever North America, he led the people and organization transformation in the business and partnered with the CEO in a turnaround and reinvention of the business.
He currently sits on the advisory boards of HR People + Strategy, the executive network of the Society for Human Resource Management; and of Lee Hecht Harrison, a firm that specializes in talent development and transitions management. He is an executive advisor on human capital for several private equity firms.
