Chairman of Dunkin' Brands Group
Nigel Travis has served as non-executive chairman of Dunkin' Brands Group Inc., a restaurant holding company, since January 2019. Prior to his current role, he served as chief executive officer of Dunkin' Brands from January 2009 until July 2018 and as executive chairman of the board from May 2013 until December 2018.
From 2005 to 2008, Nigel served as president and chief executive officer of Papa John's International Inc., an international pizza restaurant franchise. Prior to that, he held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility with Blockbuster LLC, a provider of home movie and video game rentals, from 1994 to 2004, including as president and chief operating officer. Before that, Nigel held numerous senior positions at Burger King Holdings Inc., a multinational chain of hamburger fast-food restaurants.
Nigel has served on the boards of directors of Advance Auto Parts since August 2018 and Abercrombie & Fitch Co. since January 2019. Previously, Nigel served on the boards of directors of Office Depot Inc. from March 2012 until May 2020, Lorillard Inc. from 2008 to 2012, Papa John's from 2005 to 2008, The Bombay Company Inc. from 2000 to 2007 and Limelight Group Plc from 1996 to 2000.
He is chairman of Fooda, a private company "disrupting the workplace eating space." Nigel also has served as chairman and co-owner of Leyton Orient Football Club, a professional football club in England, since June 2017. He received his B.A. (Hons) from Middlesex University. Additionally, he holds two honorary doctorates.
